1. Definitions

Administrator – Sellables Online Marketplace Nigeria Limited and its affiliates (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
Platform – The Sellables website, mobile applications, and related services.
User – Any individual or entity accessing or using the Platform.
Personal Data – Information that can be used to identify a User directly or indirectly.

2. Scope of Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of Personal Data when a User accesses or interacts with the Platform. By using the Platform, the User confirms acceptance of this Policy.

• Account data – login credentials and profile information.
• User Content – listings, messages, photos, and other material submitted.
• Transaction records – payment details where applicable.

The Administrator processes information for the following purposes:

• To provide and improve the Platform and its services.
• To enable communication and transactions between Users.
• To prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, spam, or unlawful activity.
• To personalize the User’s experience, including relevant advertisements.
• To comply with applicable laws and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).

5. Sharing of Information

Personal Data may be shared only under the following conditions:

• With service providers engaged by the Administrator for technical, payment, or analytical support.
• With regulators, law enforcement, or authorities when required by law or to protect rights.
• With other Users where information is intentionally disclosed in a listing or message.
• In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

The Administrator does not sell Personal Data to third parties.

The Administrator applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect Personal Data. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

Personal Data is retained only as long as necessary to:

• Deliver services on the Platform,
• Fulfil legal and regulatory obligations, and
• Resolve disputes or enforce agreements.

8. User Rights

Subject to applicable law, including NDPR, Users may:

• Request access to their Personal Data.
• Request correction or deletion of inaccurate or unnecessary data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Withdraw consent previously granted.
• Request a portable copy of their data.

The Platform uses cookies and similar technologies for:

Users may disable cookies in their browser, though some Platform functions may be limited.

10. Protection of Minors

The Platform is not intended for individuals under 18 without verified parental or guardian consent. Any Personal Data obtained without proper authorization will be deleted promptly.

The Administrator may amend this Privacy Policy periodically. Updates will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the amended Policy.
