The Xiaomi Mi 10i, serves as the Indian variant of the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G which was released last year in China.
Xiaomi seems to be showing no signs of ending its incessant rebranding strategy anytime soon.

Design and Display
The Mi 10i 5G parades an exquisite design which bears mirror-image to the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G and it’s wrapped in corning gorilla glass 5 on both the front and back.
The front wears an immersive 6.67-inch IPS LCD DotDisplay offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels with 450nits brightness, NTSC 84% color gamut providing vivid colors, and a tall cinematic 20:9 aspect ratio.
It features a stunning 120Hz Intelligent AdaptiveSync Display technology that enables 6 stages of refresh rate adjustment, from 30Hz to 120Hz depending on the content you are viewing and a 240Hz sampling rate.
It also packs smart eye protection features such as 360° ambient light sensor, sunlight display 3.0, Reading mode 3.0, TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification with support for HDR 10.
The screen fits to a hefty body weighing 214.5 grams similar to Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite 5G and vivo iQOO 3 5G while the dimensions measures 165.38mm in length, 76.8mm in width, and 9mm thickness. A side-mounted fingerprint also check the box on the right side.
The device is available in three color schemes namely, Midnight Black, Atlantic Blue and Pacific Sunrise colorways.
The selling point of this device is it 108MP Samsung HM2 main camera with nano-binning pixel technology (9-in-1), an f/1.75 aperture and an autofocus.
The other three sensors include an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera hinged at 120° field of view, with f/2.2 aperture, and a pair of 2MP lens supporting macro and depth function
The rear camera system offers Dual-LED dual-tone flash, 4K video recording at 30fps as well as dual video mode which allows you to record with front and back cameras simultaneously.
It also packs new photo filters which are cyberpunk, gold vibes, black ice, color focus, timed burst and time lapse selfie video.

Hardware and software
On the inside, the qualcomm snapdragon 750G with 8nm power-efficient manufacturing process star the show. It brings 5G with Octa-core CPU at 2.2GHz and the Andreno 619 GPU for graphics.
The Mi 10i boots on Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 user interface on top Android 10 OS out of the box.

The price of Xiaomi’s Mi 10i 5G starts at Rs 20,999 (~$287, ₦109,500, GH₵1,673 and 31,604 KSh and n Kenya) for the base 6GB + 64GB model, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage and 8GB + 128GB sella for Rs 21,999 (~$301) and 23,999 (~$328) respectively.
The smartphone is cheaper than the Moto G 5G, and OnePlus Nord which are about $17 and $14 pricier, though both uses Snapdragon 750G as well.
The Xiaomi Mi 10i was announced on January 05, 2021 and will be available on Amazon India starting at 12 PM on January 7, 2021.
